These take place both online using Zoom and in-person
Peer Support
Peer support is when people with similar experiences come together to listen, share, and support one another.
Peer support is like having a circle of friends who really get what you’re going through because they’ve been there too.
It’s a place to share your story, hear others, and find real comfort in knowing you’re not alone. Together, you encourage each other and lift each other up with kindness and understanding
Groups and activities
Come along to our free regular groups and activities—there’s something for everyone, from gentle exercise to boost your wellbeing, to relaxed socials and self-care sessions.
One-to-One Support
You’ll be paired up with a Community Links Advisor, who will support you one-on-one, either in person or online. They’ll provide helpful information, advice, and friendly short-term support whenever you need it.
At your first meeting, your advisor will chat with you about what interests you and any goals you want to work towards.
Together, you’ll create a support plan using the Recovery Star approach that helps you get involved in community activities—moving forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Your advisor will encourage you on as you take practical steps to reach your goals and will be there to help you work through any challenges along the way.
When you need it, they’ll help you find local groups and services that can provide additional support.
