Real Women. Real Impact: Sunshine – Louise

Louise was glad for us to share the words she wrote when she received her message of thanks, as they reflected a moment that meant a great deal to her.

Louise writes:

As part of International Women’s Day 2026, I received a wonderful email from the Waythrough Team recognising my contribution as a volunteer over the past eight years.

Accepting compliments doesn’t always come easily to me, especially for something that has given me far more than I could ever give back.

Such lovely words encourage me to keep learning, trying new things and most of all doing the homework!

These eight years have been an amazing adventure, filled with fantastic people and unexpected opportunities made possible by the kindness, patience, and understanding of a remarkable team.
