Real Women. Real Impact: Respect – Yvonne

Yvonne’s journey with Waythrough is a powerful example of growth, resilience and giving back.

Having first joined as a client, she later became a volunteer — bringing with her insight, compassion and a deep understanding of the challenges people may face.

Over the past four years, Yvonne has become a highly respected member of the community. She listens carefully, values different perspectives and helps create spaces where people feel safe to speak openly.

Respect is about more than listening — it’s about creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves and their voices truly matter.

Through her Creative Writing group and her work supporting the Stress Matters sessions, she encourages people to explore their thoughts and feelings in constructive ways. Her calm and thoughtful approach helps guide conversations while ensuring everyone feels heard and respected.

Many people also know Yvonne as the “Queen of Decluttering,” supporting clients to let go of both physical and emotional clutter. Her approach is always encouraging and compassionate.

Through her wisdom, patience and fairness, Yvonne helps foster the culture of respect that sits at the heart of Waythrough.

Real women. Real impact. Quiet change.
