ABOUT THIS SESSION
Finding Meaning Through Personal Stories: Make sense of what’s inside — one word at a time
This is not a writing class!
There’s no pressure, no rules, and nothing to get “right”.
You don’t need any writing experience, and there’s no expectation to be creative or “good with words” or grammar.
Expressive writing is a simple, private way to explore your thoughts and feelings.
You can write as little or as much as you like, in whatever way feels natural to you.
Spelling and grammar don’t matter, and you’ll never be asked to share anything you write.
Why Expressive Writing helps
Many people find that putting things into words helps to organise their thoughts, release pent-up emotions, and begin to make sense of their experiences. It can also create a bit of space in your mind — helping things feel clearer, calmer, and more manageable.
Write it out. No rules. No pressure! Join us for a safe, supportive session where you can try this out at your own pace.
WHO CAN JOIN THESE SESSIONS
Anyone who lives in Surrey and is over the age of 16.
